Glenn Larson
He is currently the Business Development Manager at VIAS3D. Before joining VIAS, Glenn spent the last 12 years in the Aerospace and Automotive Industry, specializing in the Engineering and Design of parts for the military, NASA, and Automotive suppliers. He started in the Aerospace field working in Product Engineering and eventually became Head of Engineering of a large defense supplier in the Florida Panhandle. During his time as Head of Engineering, he worked on various projects, including the Lockheed F35, F16, and C130 designs. Upon leaving the defense supplier, Glenn opened his Engineering and Machine shop and began designing and manufacturing prototypes for several defense suppliers to the Air Force Base.
Before Glenn was in Aerospace, he was in Automotive as a Research and Design Engineer for a Clutch plate manufacturer developing new products and testing wet and dry friction with new materials. Glenn holds an ASE Master Tech Certification in the Automotive Industry, where he spent his early years rebuilding transmissions. While at Corporate AAMCO, Glenn was a Corporate Trainer and Regional Manager responsible for training automotive techs and presenting around the Globe on Transmissions.
Glenn’s skills include CATIA Design, manufacturing assembly and machine programming, CMM programming, VBA, and Data Base development.
Sarah Rudder, Ph.D.
She started her career as a Systems Engineer in 2015 after graduating from Auburn University with a B.S in Biosystems Engineering. She joined the Vias3D team in 2022, bringing with her a variety of perspectives through her professional experiences. Sarah worked in the Nuclear industry supporting projects such as the Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant (WTP) in Hanford, WA and the Uranium Processing Facility (UPF) in Oak Ridge, TN. After graduating with her M.S. degree in Systems and Industrial Engineering from the University of Tennessee in 2020, Sarah began working in the Aerospace and Defense industry with a new passion for Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). Working for Raytheon Technologies, she led development and implementation of a System-of-Systems (SoS) Cameo model for a program in Richardson, TX while establishing MBSE best practices and training materials for the team. Her most recent Department of Defense (DoD) position was supporting the Collaborative Engagement Capability (CEC) with the U.S. Navy in St. Petersburg, FL. Sarah is a registered Professional Engineer with the Commonwealth of Kentucky (#35148), Object Management Group (OMG) SysML Professional (SMP) Model User, Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Practitioner, American Society of Quality (ASQ) Six Sigma Green Belt, International Council of Systems Engineering (INCOSE) Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) by the Project Management Institute (PMI), and holds a CompTIA Security+ certification.
