This course will introduce you to the fundamental concepts of CATIA V5. You will learn how to design parts and assemblies and create simple drawings. Once you are familiar with the fundamentals, you will be introduced to the Electrical Library products. You will learn how to create the Electrical Harness for an automotive assembly. You will also learn how to map the functional specifications of the Harness system to the digital mock-up created in CATIA V5 and create the harness documentation. Objectives Upon completion of this course you will be able to: - Understand the CATIA V5 interface - Design an automotive wire harness - Route the signals and create the wires - Flatten and synchronize the harness - Design and manage parts in the context of an assembly - Generate harness documentation - Produce simple drawings
