Dynamic Analysis​

This course provides fundamental concepts of nonlinear dynamic analysis along with practical applications through numerical techniques

Course Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, student will be able to:

  • Understand the basic theory behind Dynamic Analysis
  • Understand the concepts of Nonlinear dynamics
  • Use the explicit dynamics method effectively, including the application of contact and mass scaling
  • Use Abaqus/Explicit and Abaqus/Standard together to solve difficult problems
  • Model high strain-rate deformation and failure
  • Apply the concepts to solve practical applications 
  • To use software as a tool for virtual modeling
